Terms and conditions

 

1.Payment and Deposits

 

  • Credit card payments are subject to a non-refundable 3% surcharge. Debit card are free of charge.

  • Any cash agreement must be paid directly to driver

  • We accept other payment methods such as bank transfer, cheque for your convenience. Payment must be made before the journey begins

  • A deposit of 25% is required to secure any booking. The remaining balance due 7 days prior to the booking.

 

2. Cancellations and Refund

 

2.1 For all bookings (excluding Rolls Royce and all day hire bookings) cancellation must be made and acknowledged by S9 chauffeurs at least 24 hours from the start of the period hire, will not incur cancellation fees.

2.2 If a booking is cancelled by Customer within 24 hours from the start of period of hire, 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.

2.3 If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 12 hours from the start of period of hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable

2.4 If no show booking, all monies paid will be non-refundable.

2.5 Refund will be made in a 7 working days.

 

Rolls Royce and all day hire bookings

 

2.1.1 Cancellation must be made and acknowledged by S9 chauffeurs at least 96 hours notice from the start of period hire

2.1.2 If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 96 hours from the start of period hire, 25% of deposit paid will be non-refundable.

2.1.3 If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 72 hours from the start of period hire, 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable

2.1.4 If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 48 hours from the start of period hire, 100% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.

 

3. Parking, extras and other laws

 

3.1 Your booking may be subject to additional waiting time and car park charges.

3.2 If there is any stop on the way, additional £10 charges will be applied.

3.3 Our chauffeur will use the best route for your journey based on their experience and knowledge of local conditions. We are happy to cater an alternative route upon request, however should this result extra miles, an extra charge may be levied.

3.4 We reserve the right to refuse to drop off or wait in undesignated area where a fine could be charges. In circumstances, if chauffeur has to wait or drop off undesignated areas by the customer strong request then the hirer of the vehicle will be completely responsible for any parking fines incurred.

3.5 All our chauffeurs will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits. 

 

4. Waiting time

 

4.1 Waiting time is charged at hourly rate in accordance with the price structure on our website. 

4.2 Quotes for airports pick up include 30 minutes complimentary waiting time and all other quotes include 15 minutes complimentary waiting time.

4.3 After the complimentary waiting time, the charges will be applied at hourly rate in accordance with the price structure on our website. 

 

5. Smoking

 

S9 chauffeurs maintains a non-smoking policy and smoking is restricted in vehicles at all time.

 

6. Responsibilities

 

6.1 S9 chauffeurs vehicles and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passengers. However customer’s properties are carried entirely at your own risk and we shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to such property.

In the event of property being left in a car, we will endeavor to return it to the customer.

6.2 Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of the vehicle on hire to them.

6.3 S9 chauffeurs will not be held any responsible for any delays or any missed flights or late arrivals or consequential losses incurred by exceptional traffic difficulties or events beyond control.

6.4 Our Insurers will not cover injury caused by passenger’s irresponsibility such as not wearing seat belt or opening doors before the vehicle has come to a halt.

6.5 A reasonable amount of luggage is allowed but we reserve the right to refuse to carry luggage which in the opinion of the chauffeur is excessively bulky or heavy.

6.6 In the event of sickness in the vehicle, the cost of a valet and time lost for the car to resell will be a minimum of £200.

6.7 Fitness to travel - Service might be refused if any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behavior poses a threat to the chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passengers.

 

S9 chauffeurs reserve the right to change or update the above terms and condition as and when necessary.
